Jennett appeals from his conviction of two counts of second-degree sexual abuse in violation of Iowa Code section 709.3(2) (1995). He contends the trial court erred in not suppressing evidence of statements he made because: (1) they were obtained in violation of Miranda; and (2) they were involuntary under the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments. We affirm the trial court.
